St. Tönis The team of the new coach Oliver Wysk won the qualification in Westphalian Verl with two wins. Two players had to be replaced at short notice. The coach celebrates his premiere in the league.
The female A youth of the St. Tönis gymnastics celebrates! For the third time in a row, they qualified for the youth Bundesliga Handball (JBLH) at the tournament in Verl, Westphalia. The team around the new coach Oliver Wysk won the two games against the two representatives from Westphalia, TV Verl and SC DJK Everswinkel and were rightly celebrated by the fans who had traveled with them after the second success.

In both games, the St. Tönis gymnastics team was able to gain ground, especially in the last few minutes, and win the tight games. They won against the host TV Verl with 24:20 and in the second game against SC DJK Everswinkel with 24:14. “We are incredibly happy that we got through the qualification unbeaten and are starting in the youth Bundesliga handball for the third time,” said a delighted Oliver Wysk, for whom the top division is a premiere.

Wysk had to do without the injured Rebekka Rücker for a short time, and Gesa Nünninghoff was not able to play in time either. That’s why the coach nominated Marie Klanten and Amelie Hoven to complete the squad in Verl. They got their seasons like all the other players. “The collective ultimately secured this success for us,” said the St. Töniser coach.

For the third time in a row, St. Tönis is one of the 32 best youth teams in Germany.
