He noted that the Russians managed to push back to their previously occupied positions. At the same time, another bridge between Severodonetsk and Lysychansk was damaged, but the passage between the cities is preserved.
“However, they do not give up (invaders – ed.) attempts to reach the rear of our troops and disrupt the logistics of the Luhansk region. The enemy fired at Severodonetsk several times, at least three times – very powerfully, street battles began in some places. As a result, damage to 14 high-rise buildings The nearby village of Sinetsky, which the locals often call a farm, was also seriously shelled,” Gaidai said.
In addition, destruction was recorded in other cities of the Luhansk region: nine houses in Gorsky, four each in Zolote and Lisichansk. And also in the village of Vrubovka – 12, the village of Orekhovo – two.
On the eve of the head of the Severodonetsk city military administration, Alexander Stryuk, said that at present the city is on the defensive – almost 2/3 of the perimeter of the city is located by the enemy, but the city is not cordoned off.
It was also reported that since the beginning of the war in Severodonetsk more than 1.5 thousand people died. At the same time, it is currently impossible to accurately calculate how many people became victims of enemy shelling.
