Vaccination hardly reduces the risk of ‘long covid’

Anyone who has been vaccinated against corona and still gets the virus can also develop the long-term post-covid syndrome. The risk of the syndrome, previously ‘long covid’, is only slightly smaller in vaccinated people than in people who have not been vaccinated.

This is apparent from a new study among 34,000 vaccinated Americans who still got corona, in a professional journal Nature Medicine† Those who have been vaccinated have 10 to 20 percent less chance of still having corona-like complaints six months later.
