It burned night until Thursday in a cleaning plant in Heimdal in Trondheim.
– There is a full fire on site – representatives of Retura are working with the fire service to move away from equipment, the police reported.
Operations Manager Arnt-Harald Aaslund informed Dagbladet at 3 o’clock that the work is extensive and that fire crews worked to prevent the fire from spreading to industrial buildings in the area.
– It is very comprehensive, but difficult to say so early how it will develop. There are very high flames at the moment, said Aaslund.
There will be no employees at work in the facility, nor are there any buildings nearby.
Assignment manager Håvard Høyem says Adresseavisen at 04.45 that there is only a slight faint, gray smoke seeping out of the building.
– We still have some staff on site who are engaged in firefighting. We will be there until it is completely extinguished, says fire operator Marius Sandnes at the 110 exchange just before 05 o’clock.
