Many Ukrainians need a place to live after their country was destroyed by war. Not a few other citizens who are kind enough to open their homes and accommodate them. Unfortunately, this becomes a problem after a couple from England welcomes a female refugee who ends up being a household wrecker.
A woman named Sofia Karkadym fled from her city Lviv to save herself from the war. He was then taken in by a man named Tony Garnett and his partner, Lorna earlier this month. Just 10 days later, the seeds of love have sprouted between Tony and Sofia. Sofia herself admits it but says their relationship actually started with Lorna’s jealousy.
“His constant suspicion, that tension, it pushed Tony and me closer. He created a situation of constantly suspecting something was there when it wasn’t there at the time. So this is his fault,” said the woman who works in IT as reported by The Sun. .

Sofia also insisted that the relationship of the traveling couple had been shaky before she arrived. “As far as I know, they destroyed their own relationship long before I came. Their relationship was his fault. It wasn’t my fault. I decided to leave and then Tony came with me,” Sofia said.
Now Sofia and Tony are planning their future together. The 22-year-old woman herself doesn’t really care what people say even though it is said to tarnish the family name and make British people afraid to accommodate refugees.

“My parents said they were ashamed of me not even being able to leave the house because of me. They said it was because of me, no one in the UK would take a Ukrainian. Every British family now thinks, ‘I can’t take refugees because he will take my husband. .’ But this (problem) is more than about me, Tony and Lorna,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Tony himself admitted that he couldn’t help but fall in love with Sofia at first sight. He thought the decision to go with Sofia was the right thing. The 29-year-old man even felt better labeled as bad but living a happy life.
