Paris Saint-Germain has a turbulent season behind it. At the end of last year, Kheira Hamraoui was beaten and initially a teammate was suspected to be behind the incident. Hamraoui was also one of several players involved in a fight during one of the team’s training sessions recently.
And the turbulence continues.
Now PSG announces that the women’s team coach Didier Ollé-Nicolle will be suspended. The reason is that the coach is alleged to have behaved inappropriately towards his players.
“Paris Saint-Germain have today been informed of inappropriate incidents and comments that players in the club’s women’s team have been subjected to. This, if confirmed, is incompatible with Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting and human values,” the club said in a statement.
PSG will now investigate what has happened. Further action against Ollé-Nicolle may be taken.
“Paris Saint-Germain takes the situation very seriously and intends to investigate the incidents and comments that have been reported,” PSG wrote.
It was RMC Sport who earlier today, Tuesday, reported that Didier Ollé-Nicolle had made an inappropriate gesture towards one of his players and made an inappropriate comment to another player.
