LONDON (DFT) – Shell’s shareholders’ meeting in London on Tuesday voted with 80% support for the plans of the board to make its production and products more sustainable. A resolution to speed this up received 20% of the vote, despite support from major pension funds and asset managers. The meeting was disrupted by shouting in the hall (“Shell must fall”), with police removing demonstrators who had glued themselves.
