Vietnam dominated the award after successfully confirming two of its athletes as the best athletes. In addition, Thailand and Singapore also occupy one of the representatives in this award.

Nguyen Thi Oanh, who competes in athletics, and Vietnamese swimmer, Nguyen Huy Hoang, successfully became the best athletes at the 2021 SEA Games this time. Meanwhile, sprinter from Thailand, Joshua Robert Atkinson and Swimmer Singapore, Jing Wen Quan, also received similar awards.
Previously, various performances by Vietnamese artists also enlivened the closing ceremony of the 2021 SEA Games. The audience who filled the stadium also participated in a series of events with wisdom.
At the 2021 SEA Games, Indonesia won 69 gold, 92 silver and 80 bronze medals. With these results, Indonesia is under Vietnam and Thailand which managed to sit in first and second place.
Being in the top three is already a great result. Because from the start, Indonesia was targeted to be in the top three in the final standings of the biggest sporting event in Southeast Asia.
