Eurovision is now over and this edition was won by Ukraine. The triumph of the country was deserved and wanted by all to be honest. Each of us is aware of the particularly complicated historical period that the nation is going through due to the conflict with Putin’s Russia. Getting the top spot at the international music festival was a nice revenge and certainly a nice way to console the country, giving the citizens a tiny moment of joy following the trophy brought home. Beyond this, everyone knows, the 2022 event took place in Italy, precisely in Turin precisely because of Italy’s victory in the last edition. In fact, in 2021, the year in which the singing competition took place in the Netherlands, specifically in Rotterdam, our wonderful Maneskin triumphed. The group presented the song Shut up and Good with whom they had also won Sanremo 2021 for less than three months. Following the triumph, the most famous rock band in Italy reached the first position of any music chart in our country.
At the helm of Eurovision, this year, therefore, there were local presenters and among them Laura Pausini, the immense and beautiful Italian singer known worldwide. In fact, the woman also performs many times in other languages, such as English and Spanish and for this reason she has managed to make herself known outside our country too. However, for her on this occasion something went wrong and now there is talk of a heavy fine on the way. We will explain immediately what happened. Many have noted that during the course of the program, during the penultimate evening, Pausini would have said a curse that struck those who were listening to the important international event. “Holy cow”. Yes, that’s right, the singer exclaimed during the contest appointment.
To many these two little words have given a laugh, however it does not seem to be the same for the production of Eurovision which would have instead decided to make them pay an astronomical fine. Despite this, it is not yet known for certain whether the penalty was actually sent or if the authors would have decided to overlook it by forgiving the indiscretion of the unfortunate Laura who would have said those words without wanting to appear rude. How do you think the thorny situation should be resolved? Is it okay to shell out money for such a mild reason, given that they were uttered with no intention of offending anyone?
