Acer has innovated with an interesting one

The Acer Veriton Vero all-in-one PC brought a retractable webcam, Alder Lake CPU and a partially recycled housing.

The Acer Veriton Vero is an all-in-one PC that strikes a balance between performance and sustainability: it is made from 30 percent recycled materials, and its keyboard and mouse also have recycled plastic. The repairability has also been taken into account, the back cover can be removed without tools and can also be mounted on a wall according to the VESA standard.

Of the Intel Alder Lake processors, the one can even be configured with a Core i9 chip, but only the NVIDIA GeForce MX550 has a GPU. Up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and twice 1TB of NVMe SSD can fit in the machine.

The 24-inch IPS LCD display is in full HD resolution, filtering out more than 30 percent of blue light. The coffee is slim, with a 5-megapixel webcam, Windows Hello IR sensor and Tobii Eye Tracker in a drop-down, retractable module. Otherwise, the eye tracker will be able to lock and dim the display if it is presented to an unauthorized user. The Veriton Vero will be available in July for € 919.
