From the Ukraine to Lower Franconia: 11 refugee women tell their story

They come from Ukraine, the war forced them to flee. Eleven women who sorely miss their homeland and were just as surprised as many others by the Russian army’s invasion of their country. With the help of two interpreters, they tell us their stories, are overwhelmed by the hospitality in Germany and Poland – and all they really want to do is go back.1. Ludmila Boikova (44) from LuhanskIt is the second time that Ludmila is forced to leave home. In 2014 she fled her hometown of Luhansk with her daughter. In February she flees Kharkiv.
