Oppo Encourages Consumers to Repair Smartphones at Official Service Centers

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Oppo invites consumers and users to bring their Oppo devices that are damaged, to the service center (service center) official from them.

Therefore, Aryo Meidianto A., PR Manager of Oppo Indonesia, at the press conference of the Oppo Reno7 Series 5G Fun Match with Bigetron, Saturday (21/5/2022), announced the existence of the Phone Protection Plan (PPP) program.

“Actually, this program is to educate consumers, so that they only make repairs at authorized repair centers such as the Oppo Service Center,” said Aryo at the Oppo Store Karawaci, Tangerang.

Aryo said this was also a continuation of the launch of the Oppo A96 smartphone, which was launchedbundling with Oppo Care.

“So we do for certain types of devices and for some spare part certain types such as screens, mainboardback coveretc., will be given a 30 percent repair discount for spare parther,” he explained.

In addition, Oppo also frees consumers from the cost of repair services. Meanwhile, this program will last until December 31, 2022.

Aryo does not deny that consumers are often tempted by cheaper cellphone repair prices outside the official service center. “But we don’t know the quality spare partwhether it’s genuine or not,” he said.

He revealed, often found smartphone which previously suffered damage in one place, got even worse, after being taken to an unofficial cellphone repair shop.

“Maybe they (unofficial service points) can fix it, but the level of professionalism is not necessarily. If my friends at Oppo Service Center always certify every six months,” said Aryo.
