The ASUS convertible gamer laptop has brought a 165 Hz display

A 165 Hz refreshed mini-LED panel has been built into the convertible ASUS ROG Flow X16.

One of ASUS ‘new products is the ROG Flow X16 gamerlaptop, which is available with AMD Ryzen 6000 APUs. The pinnacle is the Ryzen 9 6900HS, an 8-core, 16-thread chip that hides the Radeon 680M iGPU. ASUS, on the other hand, has skipped the iGPU and has a dedicated GPU with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, 8GB GDDR6 VRAM.

Up to 32GB of DDR5 memory can be accommodated, and the M.2 2280 slot handles a 2TB PCIe Gen4 SSD. It also has 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support. The 16-inch display is also special: it is a mini-LED panel with 512 local dimming zones, a maximum brightness of 1100 nits, a contrast ratio of 100,000: 1, a response time of 3 ms, a resolution of 2.5Ks and a response time of 165 Hz. Adaptive Sync, Dolby Vision is also supported.

The machine will have a 90 Wh battery, there is no shortage of ports (HDMI 2.0b, USB 3.2 is also available), but the laptop, which can be converted to a tablet, will only be available from the end of June, for 2499 euros.
