Gasoline prices are at record levels. According to analysts, this is not the end of hikes at the stations. “We will witness the breaking of the current record in the coming weeks. The situation on the diesel oil market is now more favorable,” we read in the commentary of the Reflex Brokerage House. A slight downward revision may be for autogas.

The Reflex Brokerage House announced that on Thursday at petrol stations in Poland, 95 lead-free petrol cost an average of PLN 7.32 / l, lead-free 98 PLN 7.75 / l, diesel oil PLN 7.27 / l, and autogas PLN 3.64 / l. “During the week, gasoline prices increased by 0.42 and 0.50 / l, respectively, diesel oil decreased by 0.10 / l, and autogas by 0.10 / l, respectively,” indicated the analysts.
–
Reflex representatives noted that “gasoline prices this week broke the latest record from the beginning of March, clearly by nearly 4 percent.” “We are at the beginning of a period of increased demand for gasoline and therefore we can confidently say that we will witness the breaking of the current record in the coming weeks” – forecast analysts from BM Reflex. At the same time, they emphasized that “in the coming days, we will not be threatened by such drastic increases as this week, but at some stations we can still record a price increase of a few groszy”.
–
E-petrol analysts are also expecting further increases. “Observing what is happening on the international market and in the price lists of domestic refineries, we must warn that this is not the end of price changes at refueling stations – gasoline will become more expensive” – they wrote.
–
The situation on the diesel market looks more favorable now. “For now, diesel should not become more expensive. In the case of diesel, there is room for further reductions to the average level of PLN 7.20 / l” – we read in the commentary of BM Reflex. Autogas can keep its price or become slightly cheaper.

Gasoline is more expensive than diesel fuel
E-petrol analysts pointed out that wholesale gasoline is again more expensive than diesel. “At the end of the week, there has been a radical change in the price lists of domestic refineries. Week-to-week changes are clear, especially when it comes to gasoline. The most popular 95 lead-free gasoline today is wholesaled by 4.03%, or 264.60. PLN net more expensive compared to the end of last week. A cubic meter of this fuel costs PLN 6826 net “- they explained.
–
In turn, in the same period, diesel oil in refineries became cheaper and costs an average of 6,514.60. Thus – as analysts emphasized – the difference between basic fuels, amounting to PLN 30 a week ago, reached PLN 311 on Friday. “It is worth mentioning that about a month ago diesel was wholesaled almost PLN 800 more expensive than petrol, and today it is over PLN 300 cheaper. This means that over the course of a month we had to deal with a change in the price ratio of PLN 1,100” e-petrol representatives noted.
