Olga Palušina, introduced to “X Factor”, makes her debut with the song of Ingars Vilums

Singer PALÚ (Olga Palušina) has given her first song in Latvian – “Par star is not born”. The author of the song is Ingars Viļums, a music producer and a member of the group “Brainstorm”.

Singer and dentist Olga Palušina, who met on the TV3 show “X Faktors”, reminded herself of her new stage name PALÚ and offered the first song in Latvian, which was composed together with music producer Ingars Vilums. After participating in the show, Olga has actively continued to work on her musical development, participated in several creative projects, where she also met Ingara.

Shortly afterwards, the collaboration grew into an idea for a joint project and the song “The Star Is Not Born” was released.

“When the show ended, I felt empty. I will be honest – I didn’t want to do anything, but I wasn’t the only one, ”admits Olga. “I communicated a lot with other participants and everyone felt the same way. During the show, work hard every day, get emotional and all of a sudden it ends. And then there’s a weird void you don’t know how to fill. But I soon realized that miracles will not happen by themselves – you have to go and do it. I am very grateful that I actually met Ingara by accident. Well, I could even call him my mentor, who has helped me not only with the song, but also with support and advice. ”

“Don’t be born a star” is an allegorical story about the path you have to take to reach your goal. “Man watches the setting sun, which, as we are taught, is also a star, and thinks about his dream of life. Do go with it now or linger. A recognizable person in our society is often called a “star”, who has achieved recognition and recognition with his work, talent and enterprise. The lines in the song say that the star is not born, but becomes. I am glad to meet Olga and I believe that every artist needs to find a special connection with their listener. If both sides are on the same wave, then success is guaranteed. I believe that Olga will succeed! ” so Ingars.

“For me, this song is a story about purposefulness, belief in one’s dream and surrender,” says Olga Palušina. “I have had a dream of a musical career since I was a child. I remember my dad telling me to start writing down my thoughts, feelings and experiences. As a shy teenager, I started doing it, but I didn’t tell anyone out loud. In the end, it turned into a serious hobby – I started writing poems that grew into lyrics, for which I also composed music. There were several songs that started my professional passion for music. Since I have only written in Russian so far, and I don’t do it in Latvian yet, I am very happy that Ingars has written a song that resonates with my inner feeling. Although it is not written specifically for my vocals, I am grateful to be entrusted with singing this story. And I really hope the audience will appreciate it. ”

The video of the song was made in the cultural space “Auss”, its director is Mitra (Dmitrijs Dobrovoļskis), lighting artist Rihards Skujiņš, cameraman Anatolijs Prokopenko, MUAH – Karolina Calko, stylist – Anatolijs Ksenofontovs, art team – inbloom.lv, management – Alise
