Advisor to the head of the OP Alexey Arestovich denied the information about the Ukrainian partisans undermining the armored train of the occupiers in Melitopol. “The armored train itself was not blown up, the tracks in front of it were blown up. The Russian servicemen escaped with a slight fright. But the trouble began,” he said.
“According to some reports,” Arestovich added, two high-ranking Russian military men were killed there. “And the battle was, in general, with small arms,” the representative of the OP said.
“This shows another important thing, that there is a partisan movement where it is believed that it cannot exist. So it exists, and it is successful,” Arestovich said.
