This three or four-year online course is conducted in partnership with the Academica organization and allows students to make rapid and remarkable progress in English.
Aeronautical Initiation Certificate (BIA)
The Aeronautical Initiation Certificate is a diploma offered by the National Education. It is located at the junction of education and the world of aviation and space; a bridge between passion and reason, knowledge and practice, professional and amateur, civilian and military.
This certificate is offered in the establishment to Second year students for one weekly lesson (2 hours) associated with visits to sites related to aeronautics. It is obtained during a final evaluation which takes place in June.
A complete training
Cultural openness is a strong axis of the establishment project. Travels, linguistic stays, educational outings allow a complete training of the students. In addition, many clubs offered and then managed by the students themselves allow them to develop their initiative, their autonomy and promote living together. Chess, theatre, drawing, sewing, tarot, sport, etc., are all activities in which students can take part during the lunch break.
The most individualized assistance possible
Support, methodology sessions, pedagogical dialogue, tutoring of high school students for middle school students are all systems allowing the most regular and individualized monitoring of students in order to promote their progress and success.
Orientation Information Area
College and high school students have a specific space rich in encyclopaedic documentation to facilitate their choice of higher education, the discovery of trades and training courses. Orientation manager, head teachers and level managers are on hand to help them prepare for their future.
Horse-riding sports section
In partnership with the Equestrian Center of Yutz, the Saint-Pierre Chanel middle school riders practice their passion for three hours a week while practicing English in this bilingual sports section, unique in France, closed by an equestrian stay in an English-speaking country.
Section sportive Golf
In partnership with the Thionville-Rive droite golf club in Basse-Ham, college students can discover, learn and then improve in this sports section accompanied by a state-certified instructor. Putting, small game, practice have no more secrets for them!
Rugby Option – High School
During their training course, our high school students have the opportunity to live a variety of experiences by discovering the following practices:
- Rugby 7 (Olympic Activity and recognized at University level) and its arbitration.
- Cross Training and the contents of a healthy lifestyle.
- Outdoor physical activities through courses lasting several days (Vosges and Haute Savoie)
The optional education offered by Saint-Pierre Chanel also allows students to culturally open up to projects with a humanitarian (Cambodia, 2019), social (London, 2015 and Dublin, 2017) or environmental (Reunion, 2022) aim. These wonderful human and sporting experiences are additional assets when registering with “ParcourSup” or in major schools.
Chanel for Climate
For three years, a group of high school students has been meeting once a week to reflect on environmental issues. They are a force of proposal to bring the establishment into a more sustainable and responsible approach and to become aware of the ecological issues on a daily basis.
