Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the fighting liquidated one of the best Russian snipers. It turned out to be a native of the city of Borzya in the Trans-Baikal Territory, junior sergeant Sergei Tsarkov. About it informs Russian edition of “Chita Online”.

“The commander of the squad of a rifle company of snipers of the 1st rifle platoon, junior sergeant Sergei Tsarkov, born in 1983 from Borzi, died during a special operation in Ukraine,” the report says.

The local military enlistment office told reporters that Tsarkov was the best sniper in the brigade. Since 2016, he has constantly taken part in the international army games in the “Sniper Frontier” competition and has repeatedly been its winner.

“Everyone respected him very much, he was a professional, he had authority. Nobody could believe that this could happen to him,” the military registration and enlistment office quoted the publication as saying.

It should be noted that Sergei Tsarkov was buried on April 10, but journalists were informed about this only yesterday, May 17.
