But not all WhatsApp users are fans of group chats. A new feature could soon remedy the situation.
New WhatsApp feature: Leave WhatsApp groups unnoticed
Especially if you want to organize a meeting with friends or an event, WhatsApp groups can be very useful for sharing information with a larger group. But there are users who, for various reasons, are not interested in being included in a group chat without being asked.
So far, all participants are informed when a member leaves a chat group. But according to the blog „WABetaInfo“, WhatsApp is apparently working on a function to leave groups secretly. In the near future, only the group admin will be informed when someone leaves the group. The other chat participants know nothing about it.
Leave WhatsApp groups unnoticed: when will the new feature come out?
It is currently unclear when the new function will be available to users. According to “WABetaInfo”, the feature has so far only been integrated into the desktop version of WhatsApp as part of the beta program.
However, it can be assumed that the function will also find its way into the apps for iOS and Android. However, it is currently not known when that will happen.
