At the heart of the Môm’Art exhibition are Minitos, like those of the artist Jean-François Fourtou, exhibited at the Musée de l’Hospice Comtesse. Teachers and animators have trained in the technique of these vegetable head sculptures to be able to share workshops with children.
questions and dreams
In total, more than 60 schools participate in Utopia. Some 1,500 artistic productions compete in aesthetics and inventiveness in the exhibition presented at the Gare Saint Sauveur.
Drawings, collages, paintings, pop-ups, digital paintings, videos and other creations have been imagined and designed during school and extracurricular times.
More than 5000 young people from Lille, Hellemmois and Lommois questioned themselves and let their dreams speak, in connection with the theme of this sixth edition of lille3000, devoted to nature and the relationship of man to his environment.
Meet artists
While strolling under the heights of the Gare Saint Sauveur, visitors discover small garden animals, a flight of butterflies, plant lanterns, a suspended jungle or even a floral cloud. A wishing tree brings together the aspirations of children, pop-ups open on endangered animals, a hut invites you to observe nature at dusk.
Six recognized artists have shared residencies with some students : Anne-Sophie Baumann, children’s author, Johannes Bohun, musician and performer, Mathias Friman, children’s author and illustrator, Stéphane Kozik, sound visual artist, Guillaume Lepoix, visual artist, and Jean-Léon Pallandre, sound artist.
The City’s 35 artistic stakeholders in music, dance, theatre, architecture, heritage, reading and visual arts also took part in the adventure.
At the heart of the exhibition, many shows, concerts, artistic practice workshops and conferences are open to all and free to access in June, July and August.
