2 Unilever Indonesia Directors Resign

PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk announced that two high-ranking officials company resigned on Tuesday (17/5) yesterday.

This was conveyed through two open letters published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange information disclosure.

First, the resignation came from the board of directors on behalf of Veronika Winanti Wahyu Utami. The company stated that Veronika will officially resign from her position as of July 1, 2022 due to personal considerations.

The second resignation was proposed by Badri Narayanan from his position as director of the company effective as of June 15, 2022. Badri resigned because he would occupy a new position in an affiliated company abroad.

“There is no significant impact on the company’s operational, legal, financial condition or business continuity,” explained Director and Corporate Secretary Reski Damayanti as quoted on Wednesday (18/5).

Like Veronika, Badri’s resignation will also be asked for approval at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on 15 June.

“In connection with his appointment to a new position at an overseas affiliated company,” said Reski.
