The dusty Little Sombrero galaxy was caught on camera by the US Space Agency this week in its latest image.
Giving the name Little Sombrero to this galaxy is not without reason. That’s because galaxies are long and thin.
In addition, there is a bulge in the center of the galaxy which is reminiscent of traditional Mexican hat designs.

Hubble Captures Little Sombrero’s Dusty Galaxy
The space telescope belonging to the United States Space Agency or NASA called Hubble has captured a dusty galaxy. This galaxy is known as the Little Sombrero.
This galaxy has a unique and certainly unusual shape. In short, this galaxy will look like a typical Mexican hat, the Sombrero.
Although it is known as the Little Sombrero, this galaxy still has an official name. The official names of these galaxies are NGC 7814 and Caldwell 43.
In a recent NASA photo, it can be seen that the Little Sombrero galaxy is seen from the edge with a dazzling perspective showing a very beautiful slice of the universe.

Including Small Galaxy
The Little Sombrero or NGC 7814 is a fairly small galaxy compared to the Milky Way.
The width of the galaxy is only about 80,000 light years. While our Milky Way galaxy is certainly much larger, with a diameter of about 106,000 light.
The Little Sombrero is 40 million light-years away and so cannot be seen with the naked eye from Earth.
It is named the Little Sombrero because it is one of several galaxies, of which the Sombrero galaxy is a sibling.
The Sombrero Galaxy is similar in size to the Little Sombrero, but they look a little bigger because they are closer.
The Sombrero Galaxy or Messier 104 is 28 million light-years away and has a shape similar to the Milky Way, but has a central bulge and a wide disk visible at the edges.

Has the Uniqueness of Collecting Dust
One of the unique features of the Little Sombrero’s dusty galaxy is that it is extremely dusty. This happens because this galaxy has a ‘hobby’ which is quite strange.
The Little Sombrero Galaxy loves to collect dust. On the other hand, the galaxy’s core bulge looks much brighter and full of stars that illuminate the gas around it.
The halos of gas and stars from the galaxy spread out into space. This spiral galaxy emerged later that is after the discovery of the Sombrero galaxy looks much larger in 2003.
The Little Sombrero image was selected to commemorate Hubble’s five years. It is also one of the largest mosaics the space telescope has ever collected.
The image of the Little Sombrero galaxy is a combination of observations and infrared that Hubble’s Advanced Camera for Surveys managed to capture in 2006.
These observations of the dusty Little Sombrero galaxy are made by astronomers to assist in studying the population of the galaxy’s stars as well as to help explain the evolution of the galaxy. (R10/HR-Online)
