There is potential Juventus re-recruit Paul Pogba. Bianconeri reportedly has made an offer, with a lower salary than Pogba claims.
Pogba is rumored to be leaving Manchester United after his contract expires in the summer. Juve is believed to be one of the clubs who want his signature.
The top French midfielder once had a success story with Juventus. Pogba spent four seasons between 2012-16 winning eight domestic cups, including four consecutive Scudettos and two Coppa Italias.
Recently, Pogba’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has reportedly held talks with the Old Lady in Turin. Although Pimenta denies his arrival is linked to his client’s future, Juve have reportedly sent a proposal for Pogba.
Reported Football-Italia, Juventus proposed a three-year contract with a salary of 7.5 million euros per season (Rp 115.7 billion) plus various bonuses. The amount of the salary is much lower than the demand Pogba who wanted 11 million euros (Rp 169.7 billion) which could be a big obstacle to Pogba’s comeback to the Allianz Stadium.
Meanwhile, Pogba’s salary Manchester United reported to reach 17.8 million euros per year (Rp 182.2 billion).
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri jokes when responding to Pogba’s potential comeback. “I don’t know him, who is he? Is that an English word? I forgot, it’s been a while.”
Anyway, Juventus not the only club interested in signing Paul Pogba. The 2018 World Cup winner has also been widely linked with Paris Saint-Germain. It was also mentioned that Pogba had even spoken with PSG director Leonardo at a meeting in April.
