– It burns in the whole row. It contains three housing units, says duty officer Roger Andersen in the East 110 exchange to TV 2.
The fire service describes the fire as powerful.
– There are visible flames. The fire is so powerful that there is a danger of it spreading to others, so we evacuate several terraced houses. There is a tremendous heat development here, says Andersen.
A total of eight people will be evacuated, the police report at 07.17. There do not appear to be any injuries.
Two other townhouses have also been evacuated.

– There is currently no control of the fire. Those who are directly involved have been evacuated and all emergency services are on site to prevent further spread, says operations manager Svein Walle at the Eastern police district.
At 07.45, the fire brigade’s focus is to save one of the housing units in the terraced house.
– Two of the housing units are on fire. We are working hard to save one. We can not save the other two, says Roger Andersen.
The police in the East ask neighbors to keep the windows closed and encourage the public to keep their distance, so that the emergency services can work unhindered.
