KOMPAS.com – Mukram, father of Muhammad Arfandi Ardiansyah (18), suspects that his son was tortured to death after being arrested by the police on drug charges.
Mukram said he saw Arfandi’s body covered in bruises and bruises all over his body.

Even Arfandi’s hand was broken and his ear was bleeding.
“After seeing my son’s corpse, it was incredible the wounds were all over his body. Battered, bleeding ears, broken and swollen hands. Also both legs, swollen from being hit. So I saw the wounds, not only being beaten, but He was also given electric shocks,” he said when met at his home on Jl Kandea 2, Bunga Eja Beru Village, Tallo District, Makassar City, Monday (16/5/2022).

No history of shortness of breath
Mukram is not sure that his son died of asphyxiation, as stated by the police.
This is because Arfandi has never had a history of asthma or shortness of breath.
“It’s not true that the news in the media said my son died of asthma. Because my child is in good health and does not have asthma or other shortness of breath,” he said.
Ping pong for five hours
Mukram explained that at first he received news about Arfandi’s arrest from someone who claimed to be a police officer. The man called Mukram and asked him to immediately go to Bhayangkara Hospital Makassar.
However, he was instead told to go back and forth to Bhayangkara Hospital and Makassar Police Station.
Until five hours later. Mukram was only able to see his son’s body.
“I was surrounded by members, so I went back and forth between Bhayangkara Hospital and Makassar Polrestabes. Even the police said that my child was safe and could be in peace,” he said. Mukram
Mukram refused an autopsy on Arfandi’s body and an external post-mortem was sufficient, because it was clear that there were many bruises and bruises on his body.
Family denies drug dealer victim
Mukram also denied that his son was a drug dealer as stated by the police.
The reason is, there are witnesses who say that there was no evidence when Arfandi was arrested.
Arfandi resigned himself to being questioned when he was arrested, but instead continued to be beaten.
“Why is my son said to be a drug dealer, while he sells clothes at the Central Market every day. I also wonder why the police have the heart to kill my son. I was also informed by the police, they said my son tested positive for drugs after a urine test. remove the urine and have the urine tested,” he added.
