If everything goes normally, then by the end of March 2023 the eighth season of “The Masked Singer” will have been shown in the ProSieben program. Then the show should go on a big tour of Germany for the first time, as the television station announced on Saturday as part of the season opener of the sixth round. The plan: The TV guessing fun wants to fill large arenas all over Germany and travel to 13 cities in around two and a half weeks. Seven. One Starwatch, Endemol Shine Germany and the event company FKP Scorpio are working together on the “TMS” tour.
Celebrities will be there and there will also be unmasking in every show, according to the ProSieben homepage – but there are no further details on the stage concept yet. All dates have already been set for this. According to the current planning status, the tour should start on March 30th in the SAP Arena in Mannheim, the finale is planned for Saturday, April 15th in Nuremberg.
In between there are stops in Oberhausen, Stuttgart, Munich, Cologne, Leipzig, Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Frankfurt and Bremen. Tickets are already available – prices vary. In the best case, the cards change hands for just under 40 euros.
Of course, the idea is not new. “Let’s Dance” is now on tour away from the TV show, and again in 2022. A total of 17 shows are planned for November, including two in Cologne, but there will also be stops in Braunschweig, Risa, Stuttgart and Dortmund. Here, too, the prices vary quite strongly, but you won’t be there for less than 60 euros.
