Mid-May in Nuremberg, the best football weather and around 50,000 fans cavort around the dozen pond and head towards the stadium. A small part of it turns onto the Zeppelin field shortly beforehand to support the local footballers against the Munich Rangers. As on the day before, the spectators see a motivated and fighting team, for which it is unfortunately not quite enough in the end.
Nuremberg missed the start of the game again and quickly fell behind by 0-13. Things went better in the second quarter and you could shorten the gap with a touchdown, but annoyingly the guests from Munich managed to score again just seconds before the half-time whistle and it was 7-20 at the break.
Unfortunately, the Rams also started the second half with too many misses and ended up trailing 7-27. After that, the team caught up and started catching up, with the passing game now working, they came up to a touchdown to 20-27. Unfortunately, the rebellion came too late, with a solid drive the Rangers were able to bring the game to an end and finally scored a field goal to make it 20-30.
For the second time in a row it was not enough for the rams from Franconia. A further increase in performance is necessary in the still young season to bring in the first win.
