On Friday, October 22, 2021 at around 4:45 p.m., there was a police operation in the Ludwigshafen district of Mundenheim because of a rampaging person. The 69-year-old man from Ludwigshafen was supposed to be tied up by the police officers because of his aggressive demeanor. He resisted being tied up, which led to a physical altercation between him and the officers. Only by using the taser were the police able to stop the man’s resistance. The police officers were unharmed, the man suffered a laceration, which was treated medically. A preliminary investigation was initiated against the man for resisting law enforcement officials.
