The Executive Committee of the Bavarian State Parliament is on a regional visit to Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate today and tomorrow (May 16 and 17). Stations for the group around the President of the State Parliament Ilse Aigner (CSU) and her deputies are in the Upper Palatinate Regensburg, Schönsee in the Schwandorf district and Bad Kötzting in the Cham district.
Tomorrow they will be on the road in Lower Bavaria and will be stopping in Neuschönau in the Freyung-Grafenau district and in Straubing and Neufahrn in Lower Bavaria in the Landshut district.
On the programme: culture, visits and exchanges
According to Ilse Aigner, it is important for the presidency of the state parliament to go out and see what is being implemented on site with the funds from the state parliament. On the one hand, the program includes culture, company visits, but also the exchange with the local population and members of parliament, according to the President of the State Parliament.
Centrum Bavaria Bohemia and the Bavarian Forest National Park
Today started with a tour of the House of Bavarian History in Regensburg. During the day, the MPs will also visit the Centrum Bavaria Bohemia in Schönsee, which is dedicated to cross-border cultural exchange. The entourage then visits a health prevention center in Bad Kötzting.
Tomorrow in Lower Bavaria the Bavarian Forest National Park, the external campus of the Technical University of Munich in Straubing for biotechnology and sustainability and finally a company tour in Neufahrn in Lower Bavaria are on the program of the regional visit.
