A man was discovered Monday morning in his car, shot dead in the Montesoro district of Bastia. In addition to his age – 59 – no details have yet been given about the victim.

The man “was shot dead in his vehicle, parked in his parking lot, as he left his home to go to work,” said Arnaud Viornery, the public prosecutor of Bastia.
The judicial police of Bastia was seized of this criminal investigation opened under the qualification of “assassination”.
