2021 SEA Games medal standings still topped by the hosts, Vietnam. Meanwhile, Indonesia, sticks with the Philippines for the third position!
As of 14.00 WIB, Monday (16/5) 2021 SEA Games medal standings still controlled by Vietnam. The host won 160 medals with details of 49 gold, 47 silver and 44 bronze.
Vietnam triumphed in athletics and fencing. In second place, Thailand followed.
Thailand has already packed 28 gold, 25 silver and 44 bronze. The Philippines are strong in table tennis, while currently in third place with 21 gold, 27 silver and 38 bronze.
Indonesia is in fourth place with gold acquisition which is slightly different from the Philippines. The Red and White Team just won 19 gold, 30 silver and 34 bronze.
Dewi Laila Mubarokah is the latest to donate gold from the Shooting sport. In Wushu, Thania Kusumaningtyas successfully won bronze.
Last Sunday (15/5), in chess, Dewi Citra Ardhiani won gold and Irene Sukandar won bronze.

The struggle for gold in SEA Games 2021 still long. There are still many sporting events to be played and the opportunity for Indonesia to rise to a higher rank is still wide open.
