Just a week away from the release of their third album California Soil, London Grammar unveils a brand new extract, America. This song with strong and committed lyrics was inspired by the situation in the United States: “I use the idea of the American dream to describe something that happened to me. When you are an artist, you absorb everything that is happening around you. The situation and the tension in the United States unconsciously had a big influence and it pushed me to write a song about it (…) It’s about my own experience (…) I was not sure to be able to write more songs and then I did this one. And it allowed me to get back in the saddle” she explains at the microphone of Pure Chart.
Four titles have already been unveiled: Lose Your Head, How Does It Feel or or again Baby It’s You. America, will also be part of the eleven tracks on their album to be released on April 16, four years after their last, Truth Is A Beautiful Thing.
Wait a little longer before listening to the entirety of this new musical project, with America!
