Howard says she would be interested in directing a war of stars movie and she doesn’t seem too picky about what it would be about.
Bryce Dallas Howard has directed several episodes of Star Wars television
Howard is traditionally an actor with roles in films such as Jurassic world, Spider-Man 3, rocket Manand The help. She recently followed in her father’s footsteps and started directing. Her recent directing work includes episodes of The Mandalorians. Howard directed Season 1 Episode 4 entitled “The Sanctuary”. The Mandaloriansand Episode 3 of Season 2 entitled “The Heiress”.
She returned to war of stars in Boba Fett’s book and directed Episode 5, “Return of the Mandalorian”. In an interview with io9, Howard was asked if she found it funny that she directed an entire episode about the Mandalorian on a TV show that’s supposed to be about Boba Fett.
“Oh no. I mean, I absolutely loved that,” Howard said. “[Producers] Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have been incredibly inclusive from the start. And so it was something they had talked about. And it was just so… it was great. I love Mando.”

After the Skywalker saga ended with Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalkermany have wondered in which direction this is going war of stars will take. As new films are announced, many war of stars Fans want Lucasfilm to give Howard their own movie. Howard was asked by io9 if there was a specific story or character she’d like to make a movie out of, and Howard’s response makes it seem like she wasn’t too picky.
“Oh my goodness,” Howard replied. “I think it would take someone to ask me.”
It is not clear in which direction war of stars goes in, but if Howard’s auditions were her TV episodes for Disney+, then Lucasfilm would be wise to give her a movie of her own. Howard is currently making her return to the Jurassic world franchise one Jurassic World Dominion which hits theaters on June 10th.
