TNews, BOLTIM – In order to make up for the lack of national health coverage, the Regency Government (Pemkab) of East Bolaang Mongondow will participate in organizing a national program, namely the National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) starting in May 2022.
This activity is part of the National Health Program, namely National Immunization Week to prevent children from health problems caused by measles and rubella.
The head of the Boltim Health Service (Dinkes), Saifuddin Gobel, SKM, M.Kes, said that this activity was a form of the Boltim Regency Government’s seriousness in alleviating health problems in the Boltim region.
“Of course, apart from contributing to the success of the government’s program within the framework of this year’s BIAN, the launching of the BIAN program in North Sulawesi will be carried out simultaneously on 18 May 2022,” said Saifuddin.
He said that to get this immunization, people could visit locations that had been prepared by the Health Office.
“Immunization can be obtained in all health care facilities, schools and immunization posts,” he said.
Saifuddin also appealed to the community to jointly make the BIAN program a success.
“Let’s work together to make the BIAN program a success so that we can keep our families healthy through the pandemic with complete immunizations,” he concluded.
“Come on, let’s take care of the children with immunizations,” he added.
