Russia Drops Phosphorus Bomb on Azovstal Mariupol Steel Plant: Hell Has Come to Earth

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Deputy City Council Mariupol, UkrainePetro Andriushchenko reported on the latest conditions at the Azovstal steel plant via the Telegram messaging application, Sunday (15/5/2022).

Andriushchenko says Russia has dropped bom phosphorus in Azovstal in response to victory Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).

He described the attack as hell that had come to Azovstal.

“Hell has come to earth. To Azovstal,” Andriushchenko was quoted as saying Al Jazeera.

Andriushchenko uploaded a video of the attack, in which artillery fire was also seen.

The video could not be independently verified.

As for bom phosphorus is an incendiary bomb that ignites on contact with oxygen and causes devastating damage.

Its use is prohibited under international law in populated areas.

NATO Will Not Delay Expansion
