The gendarmerie and the national police were mobilized on the roads of Eure-et-Loir on Saturday May 14 to fight against urban rodeos. These checks were carried out throughout the national territory, at the request of the Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin.

This Sunday, the prefecture of Eure-et-Loir unveiled the results of these operations. In the national police zone, three sites were checked: the La Madeleine district in Chartres, the Vieux-Puits district in Lucé, and finally, the so-called “Banana” district in Mainvilliers.

A minor was arrested and taken into police custody in Chartres during this intervention and a two-wheeler was seized.

In the gendarmerie zone, the police deployed in three municipalities: Le Mesnil-Simon, very close to Yvelines, Marchezais, in Drouais, and Terminiers, on the border with Loiret. The result is, according to the prefecture, two verbalizations. Checks continue this Sunday in the department.
