The CEO of Institute of the National Workers’ Housing Fund, Infonavitin the state of ChihuahuaJesús Octavio García Sáenz, announced that from now on, more than 130 thousand credits in the state can be converted to pesos, since they were previously in a scheme of Times Minimum Wage and that harmed users every year that there was an increase in the minimum wage.
He explained that previously this scheme allowed the creditors of the credits to calculate the balance and monthly payment with the minimum wage, but as of this year, those who have a credit from 2016 and earlier, can already make the change to pesos, so that they do not suffer increases in their balance as in monthly payments.

The Infonavit delegate in Chihuahua, Jesús Octavio García Sáenz, said that on May 9 they presented the new Universal Window of Shared Responsibility, so that you can convert your credit from Times Minimum Wage (VSM) to pesos, without the need for intermediaries or “ coyotes” and in an easy and simple way.
He said that in order to access all the benefits of this program, through the new Universal Window, it is essential that you are registered in My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx), the access key, from the comfort from your home, to all the programs and services that the institute has for you.
Currently, My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx) has more than 11 million 129 thousand registered rights holders throughout the country, who can carry out procedures, access restructuring, pre-qualify and many other things with just their username and password, without leave your home.
Invited those people who have not registered, you will only need your CURP, RFC and Social Security Number (NSS) to do so; in addition to providing contact information such as a phone number and an email (not from your work).
What are the steps to convert my VSM credit to pesos?
1. Register or log in to My Infonavit Account (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx).
2. Within the My Credit section, click Shared Responsibility and enter the state and zip code of the home you purchased with your credit.
3. Know the current conditions of your credit and break down the information under the Shared Responsibility program in the See Conditions button.
4. On the Procedure tab and in the Shared Responsibility column, click Select. A window will appear that will indicate how much your fixed monthly payment will be with the conversion to pesos.
5. Confirm the conversion of your VSM credit to pesos with the monthly payment you would have on the Yes button.
6. Welcome to Shared Responsibility! Your credit has already been converted to pesos and you can download your letter or the new financial conditions of your financing in PDF format.
The Director of Infonavit in Chihuahua said that among the benefits acquired by converting the credit to pesos are: monthly installments and fixed balances throughout the agreed term, without annual increases; fixed interest rate between 1% and 10.45%; and certainty about your finances and the economy of families.
