Film and television actor Fred Ward has died at the age of 79. The artist rose to fame for his participation in films such as The Naked Gun 33 1/3, Escape from Alcatraz, Tremors and Chosen for Glory. Until now, his family did not want to reveal the cause or place of death.
Ward’s personal story is very striking: he decided to pursue acting after serving for three years in the United States Air Force. After his stint in the military in the 1960s, he began working as a lumberjack in Alaska. He was also a fast food cook and a boxer.
