One of these pointed out that Adams has not been on stage during the last A1 concerts.
And he is at least not visible in the latest photos posted on A1’s Instagram, four days back in time – when Subwoolfer stood on the stage in Turin and secured a final ticket in the first semifinal.
A1’s instapost has a photo series of nine photos, referred to as a concert in Cardiff. Ben Adams is not looking at any of them.
Subwoolfer performed “Give That Wolf A Banana” as the seventh song in Turin.
And got love – from the sweet brother, whose biggest newspaper believes that «Norway has understood everything».
More specifically, Markus Larsson reviews in Aftonbladetwho is not in the habit of putting his love on Norwegian ESC contributions.
– Norway has understood everything, he writes, and gives four points out of five possible.
– This is what the competition is about: two yellow wolves with long ears, big teeth, costumes, sunglasses and a secret identity that sings about giving, yes, the wolf a banana before going, well, eating up grandma. Awesome. Did I hear a “yum yum”?
The tone in Danish Ekstrabladet is something different:
– Too stupid. Daft Punk for fools, it is said there, from a reviewer who gives two stars and adds something about “mountain monkeys”.
The Eurovision Song Contest reports on its official Twitter account that there were almost 50,000 Eurovision tweets while Subwoolfer was on.
“Harry Potter” author JK Rowling put his love on the Norwegian contribution before it was performed.
She declared her love already during the presentation of the artists at the beginning of the ESC broadcast.
– OK I love Norway already, she announced on Twitter. And kept the style after the performance as well:
“Completely brilliant,” Rowling said.
Subwoolfer responded on Twitter by launching a possible new project: Hairy Potter.
– This was delicious !, it was said in a written statement from Subwoolfer about the performance after the last “yum” was sung.
– A large hall with super nice earthlings who knew our whole song! Jim was really surprised and Keith was bursting with joy! Turin has been absolutely fantastic so far. DJ Astronaut is a bit hot and wants a fan.
NRK’s project manager for Eurovision, Stig Karlsen, thought that Subwoolfer and the Norwegian team delivered the goods.
– Then we will see if a united Europe is on the notes, Karlsen said.
But it ended with only 36 points and 17th place after the professional juries had had their say.
Then the TV viewers treated 146 points, so that Subwoolfer ended up in 10th place in the end.
