An upgraded version of Samsung’s old tablet has been quietly released recently. The latest Samsung tab is named Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Reportedly the tablet was upgraded and released on Amazon Italy.
Samsung has opened pre-orders Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022. While sales and deliveries begin on May 23, 2022.
If a comparison is made between the specifications of the 2020 and 2022 versions of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, there are two main differences. One, the version of Android used. The 2020 Tab S6 Lite is equipped with Android 10 OS, while the 2022 version is released with Android 12.
The next difference is in the embedded chipset. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 version uses Exynos 9611 (10nm). While the 2022 version of the Tab S6 Lite uses Snapdragon 720G (8nm). Thus, the latest version of the tablet has a much higher CPU and GPU performance than its predecessor.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was just updated to Android 12 a few months ago. The tablet will also still receive one more Android update and one more security update after that.
In addition to the two main differences, in terms of price are also different. The Tab S6 Lite 2022 is priced starting at IDR 6 million. IDR 300,000 more expensive than the 2020 version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite when it was first released.
The Tab S6 Lite 2022 has a 10.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels. This tablet supports S Pen. Snapdragon 720G is supported by 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory, and a microSD slot. While other specifications are still the same as the 2020 output.
In terms of battery, this latest version of the tab has a capacity of 7,040mAh. In addition, there is a pair of AKG speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 3.5mm jack. The software used is Android 12 with One UI 4.0. Those are the specifications and prices Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 release.
