The driver of the white van that was wanted in Someren has reported himself to the police. The man would have taken a 6-year-old boy unknown to him in his bus on Wednesday afternoon. The police asked people to look out for the bus, but it has now also been found.
On Friday evening, the police put out a call and asked people to look out for the white van.
The police say they are talking to the man on Saturday morning, but are not yet able to say what happened in the van. According to the police, there were no indications that criminal offenses had been committed.
Help with unloading
The boy cycled on Wednesday afternoon around a quarter to four on the Kruisbaan in Someren. There he was approached by a man in a white van. He asked the boy for help unloading his bus. Then he invited the boy with bicycle on the bus.
They then drove around for a few minutes, after which the child was let out of the bus on Nederweertseweg. The bus probably drove over Hugterweg, Hugten and Koenraadweg.
