Tarnishing the Village’s Good Name, Body of Suspected Young Mother Killer in West Bandung Rejected by Residents All

KOMPAS.com – M, the suspected killer of a young mother with the initials WS (31) in West Bandung Regency, West Java, was found dead by hanging herself, Thursday (12/5/2022) morning.

M was found by his mother dead in a garden not far from their house, in Jayamekar Village, Padalarang District, West Bandung.

However, when he was about to be buried, the residents rejected M’s body to be buried in the Gunung Bentang village public cemetery, Jayamekar Village.

“Yes (there was a refusal), because earlier they should have had their own cemetery in RW 13. Only because it is close to a settlement, residents who are nearby do not want the body (of the perpetrator) to be buried there,” said Jayamekar Village Head, Siti Khoiriyah, when contacted, Thursday.

Siti then coordinated with the Padalarang District Government and local officials to find a solution.

Finally, it was decided that M’s body was buried in the Covid-19 cemetery on the land of PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN), Rajamandala Kulon Village, Cipatat District, West Bandung.

“So he was buried in the Cipatat area. The victim’s family didn’t accept it, they felt hurt. It’s okay, it can’t be done, I feel sorry for the victim’s family,” said Siti.

According to Siti, M was rejected by residents because they were considered to have tarnished the good name of the village for his behavior during his life.

“Rather than being a problem, it’s the same everywhere. The village is trying to pray at the village mosque. We are responsible for it,” he explained.

It was previously reported that a young mother of one child with the initials WS (31), was killed by her ex-boyfriend with the initials M, at the victim’s residence in Jayamekar Village, Padalarang, West Bandung, West Java, Sunday (8/5/2022) afternoon.

Before killing the victim, M had time to terrorize the victim and his family.

This was done because WS refused M’s invitation to get married. WS also cut ties with M.

WS’s refusal was because M often spoke harshly and committed acts of violence against the victim.

The victim’s family said that when the terror occurred, the family had tried to report M to the Padelarang Police.

However, the police ignored the report.

Meanwhile, Cimahi Police Chief AKBP Imron Ermawan said the police had responded to the terror complaint by providing solutions to mediate victims and perpetrators.

When he was about to be mediated, it turned out that M had run away first.
