Every day we have it in our hands, we can hardly imagine a life without money. And people have been doing this for centuries and millennia. The fact that we know much less about our euro and means of payment than we assume becomes clear on a tour of the current exhibition in the Nieheim Cheese Museum “20 years of the euro”.
