On June 27, the City of Beauharnois will proceed with a sewage treatment bypass at the central sector treatment plant, as part of the upgrade work.
A necessary procedure
This operation is necessary in order to set up low level switches to protect the equipment and restart the treatment in normal mode of the purification process. In the current circumstances, the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change asks to inform the population 45 days before the planned diversion work.
However, the scheduled date of June 27, 2022 is subject to change, depending on weather conditions. If applicable, the City of Beauharnois will transmit the new schedule as soon as possible.
