Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – The football women of VfL Wolfsburg will receive the championship trophy from a trio around DFB President Bernd Neuendorf. After the game against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday (2 p.m. / Magentasport and NDR), Neuendorf, DFB Vice President Sabine Mammitzsch and national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg are scheduled to hand over the trophy. The women from Lower Saxony secured the title early with a 10:1 win in Jena last Sunday.
