A reverse sequence at the origin of the rejection for safety reasons
A spectacular, incredible advertising video with breathtaking images. So breathtaking that the maneuvers you see are very dangerous. At least in the UK where the Land Rover commercial has been banned. In the sequence, the Land Rover Defenders disembark from a ferry, drive through the city and make their way into the desert. They run on the sand, climb the dunes, pass the rocks. These are the final sequences that led to the censorship: the cars, on top of a cliff, reverse to the edge of the rock aided by the noise of the sensors. Open up heaven.

The danger
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in the UK found the content to be misleading and dangerous. The concern stems from the fact that parking sensors on modern vehicles cannot detect empty space, or the edge of a precipice, as shown in the video. Their ultrasonic transducers can only detect hard objects behind the vehicle. If a driver relied on the parking sensors when reversing towards a cliff, they would simply find themselves reversing over the edge without the parking sensors making a sound. Jaguar Land Rover replied that the shots in the ad clearly show it was reversing towards a boulder that could have triggered the sensors.
