The Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels announced that On May 6, the average price of EU95 petrol in Poland was PLN 6.72 per liter. Meanwhile, as of April 5, it was PLN 6.54.
Diesel oil also increased in price, although less significantly, by PLN 0.19 – on average to the level of PLN 7.45 per liter.
LPG, on the other hand, was a bit cheaper. On May 6, it cost PLN 3.63 per liter, which is PLN 0.07 less than at the beginning of April.
Reflex analysts forecasted further increases in fuel prices at the end of last week. The world market is currently looking primarily at the EU’s plans for the next plans for sanctions against Russia. “The highlight of the week for the crude oil market was the proposal for the sixth EU sanctions package against Russia, which proposed a complete abandonment of Russian oil and fuel imports,” the report wrote. Such sanctions would, of course, have a very large impact on oil prices.
