The younger brother of the 4th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Abdurrahman Wahid, Lily Chodidjah Wahid, passed away. Lily Wahid died while being treated at the Integrated Heart Center at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), Jakarta.
This sad news was conveyed by Lily Wahid’s nephew, Firry Wahid, Monday (9/5/2022). The body will be buried in West Covina, Cibubur Tourism City, Bogor, and then buried at the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, East Java.
“Tomorrow departs from the funeral home tomorrow Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 05.00,” said Firry.
The family prayed for Lily Wahid.
“Please forgive his mistakes during his life. Allahummaghfirlaha warhamha wa’afiha wa’fuanha“said Firry.
Lily Wahid’s Condition During Treatment
Last Friday, it was reported that Lily Wahid’s condition was stable. Lily Wahid was being treated at the RSCM.
“That’s right. Mrs. Lily Wahid is being treated at the RSCM,” said Firry Wahid when confirmed, Friday (6/5).
Firry also revealed that Lily Wahid had contacted her brother, Gus Umar Wahid, via telephone.
“Thank God his current condition is stable, this morning we had a long chat via telephone with his brother, Gus Umar Wahid. He was treated at the RSCM on a referral from the doctor who treated him to get more comprehensive treatment,” he said.
This afternoon, Firry then conveyed the news regarding Lily Wahid’s critical condition. Lily Wahid passed away at 16.25 WIB.
