The first surprise of the day on Day 2 of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia is by Stan Wawrinka. The Swiss, in his third event of the season after Marbella and Monte-Carlo, eliminates in a comeback the 14th seed of the Roman Masters 1000, Riley Opelka, with a score of 3-6 7-5 6-2, matured in one hour and 47 minutes of the game. In the next round Wawrinka will challenge the winner of the match between the qualifier Laslo Djere and the Croatian Borna Coric.
