Fabian Grötsch is still at the head of the Schönseer Jugend & Musikclub. At the annual general meeting, the members confirmed him in the office of chairman. In his statement of accounts, Grötsch had previously reviewed past club activities. The live concerts last summer fell into the time with few corona restrictions. The rock bridge at the Centrum Bavaria Bohemia (CeBB) at the beginning of September was a huge success with 400 music fans. The CeBB used a bus for the mirror event on October 22 in Domazlice, which JMC members were happy to use.

The focus of the report was the intensive further construction of the permanent stage house on the open-air site since 2019. “What was done by the members and helpers on a voluntary basis and donated by supporters is great and deserves the highest recognition, which we received at the inauguration of the building on August 13th and 14th, combined with the 30th anniversary of the club,” emphasized Fabian Grötsch.

In addition to Christina Karl, Bastian Schürmann and Matthias Wirnshofer, Martin Spörl also did not run for a position on the board in the subsequent elections. For 30 years he carried responsibility as second chairman when it was founded, later as chairman, finally as assessor and during the many construction measures as a competent and self-tackling consultant.

Sandro Petschler was elected as deputy to the old and new chairman Fabian Grötsch. Alexander Wild acts as secretary. The treasurer is Sandra Vogl. Laura Weinfurtner, Florian Pfaffl, Thomas Vogl, Johannes Zimmermann and Jonas Lehner were elected assessors.

The proposal to invite JMC members to a monthly meeting in the new stage building was approved. Youth representative Andrea Spichtinger drew the members’ attention to the second vacancy and addressed the possibility of smaller events, also in the winter, thanks to the stage building. Enriching the city’s holiday program with impromptu theater with and for children is being considered. Another suggestion was that the previous autumn wine festivals should be repeated.
